Welcome to The Spanish Learning Centre in Blackpool where we pride ourselves on making this Latin (Spanish) language fun as well as interesting.

Ruth Cunningham, owner of the Spanish Learning Centre in Blackpool, says:

"After working and living in Spain for 10 years, I decided, upon my return to Blackpool, to pass on what I had learnt in my time in Spain.  I say to my students that I am not going to just teach them Spanish but share a passion.  It's not first about learning the language but discovering a new culture and different way of life - very exciting!

All the classes at The Spanish Learning Centre in Blackpool are taught in a fun and relaxed atmosphere of no more than 8 people or individually if preferred.  Age is of no concern - our youngest student is just 5 years old and our oldest....well, let's just say she is entitled to her free bus pass!"

You don't have to be fluent in another language for it to be of use.

Spanish is easy to learn in the early stages because:

• It has very simple sound system, with just five vowel sounds.

• There is a direct correspondence between spoken and written forms.

• The basic points of grammar are quite simple.

• A good level of communication is achieved fairly rapidly.
